If you have ever been to the produce aisle in a grocery store, you’ve probably noticed a small adhesive label on the fruits or vegetables. More than likely those labels were created and placed by Sinclair. Established over 30 years ago, Sinclair delivers a variety food-safe fresh produce labels and labeling equipment.
Developed with producers in mind, Sinclair’s state-of-the-art machines enable packers and shippers to showcase their brand on each product. At the Produce Marketing Association Show (PMA 2018), Sinclair set out to exhibit with a custom 20×20 booth that would allow them to captivate show attendees with bold displays that showcased their production machinery.
Client Needs
Sinclair desired a welcoming, open-concept exhibit with custom displays of their produce labeling machines (with room to explain to attendees how their process works). They also needed a way to showcase their recent branding update within the 20×20 space.
The Rockway Solution
After understanding Sinclair’s wants and needs, we got to work designing a display that checked off all the items on their wishlist. With 20,000+ attendees at the PMA Fresh Summit, we created the space in a way that would catch the attention of attendees while maintaining a professional, on-brand aesthetic. Booth elements included:
- Four backlit display walls supplemented with underlit beams for a bright, open look.
- Large circular sign with the new logo hung overhead.
- Bar and small lounge area created a comfortable environment for product conversations and entertaining.
- Small closet for secured storage.
Unseen but just as important, the design was built in a way that accommodated easy, trouble-free setup that could withstand high volumes of traffic over the course of the event.
