Volvik, the official golf ball of the World Long Drive and sponsor of the World Long Drive Championship, is a maker of professional golf balls and golfing equipment. The international brand attended the 2018 PGA Show in Orlando with two key goals: to showcase their products and build upon their reputation as an industry leader that develops quality and innovative products.
Volvik had attended other trade shows in the past, but for this particular show, they needed a display that was built with the same quality and integrity as their products. Rockway Exhibits worked with their team to produce a 30×57 custom trade show booth that would grab the attention of attendees and help them achieve these show goals.
Our Approach
Since product displays were a core feature of the design shared by Volvik, we quickly got to work building two large, dimensional kiosks in our on-site woodshop, much like you would see in a physical store. At the front of these kiosks, LED arm lights were installed in the shape of the letter “V” for added branding. Volvik’s signature orange was used for continuity and to add a bold pop of color to the space that set the booth apart from others surrounding it.
Another focal point of the design was a custom built glass counter that showcased their colorful golf balls. This custom reception desk was an L-shape designed with a top-lit display in the front. It also served as a secure storage space for added function.
Other design elements included a walk-in storage closet and large conference rooms for private meetings. The lighting in every space was thoughtfully designed, keeping a professional look while grabbing the attention of those walking the showroom floor.
The Results
Volvik was thrilled with the quality of the entire booth and the craftsmanship of the custom items. They were pleased to be able to collaborate with our team on the design of the space prior to the show, and they received many compliments at the event.
