Did you know nearly one in four adults has at least one bunion, and this toe joint disorder can be painful and sometimes even debilitating? At the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) Show, Treace Medical partnered with Rockway Exhibits + Events to demonstrate its LAPIPLASTY® procedure and other cutting-edge medical devices to orthopedic specialists from around the country.

Client’s Goals

Treace Medical Concepts wanted their 30×40 booth to be attention-grabbing and to create an exceptional experience for guests coming to their exhibit. With an audience that would include medical professionals from every state, they wanted to show exactly what LAPIPLASTY® is in a way that would allow the doctors to see themselves performing the procedure.

Unlike the 2D surgeries that are most commonly used to correct serious bunions, LAPIPLASTY® operates in three dimensions, using advanced instrumentation to reposition the entire misaligned bone back into normal alignment. Treace wanted its booth’s design and features to share this invaluable technology efficiently with a wide audience.

Rockway’s Solution

Since Treace’s main goal was to demonstrate its LAPIPLASTY® procedure and products, Rockway decided to focus on an entire wall of large, high-LED video screens that could show the procedure to multiple attendees at once. This wall freed up plenty of floor space in the booth, which allowed Rockway to create multi-accessible stations at each corner to encourage attendee engagement.

To help this large space feel approachable without being cluttered or crowded, Rockway used Aluvision Hi-LED 55 LED panels for the double-sided video wall and Aluvision Omni-55 frames and SEG graphics for the surrounding tower. This helped the video wall stand out from aisles away, boosting engagement and promoting the brand throughout the exhibit area. Each multi-accessible demo station had Aluvision lightboxes and custom counters, providing a clean and streamlined appearance. From start to finish, this custom 30×40 booth took three months.

Treace loved the Hi-LED 55 LED wall, as it allowed them to reach literally thousands of viewers with their technology over the course of the show. This bright, spacious booth had a major presence on the show floor, allowing Treace’s staff to allot more time to focus on engaging with attendees instead of increasing traffic.
