Jack Rouse Associates (JRA), a prominent and multidisciplinary design firm, plans and executes exceptional experiences for the visitors of global clients in diverse industries such as sports, entertainment, corporate, and culture. The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) held their 2017 conference and trade show in Orlando, Florida. JRA wanted a modern and attractive look that would pique the attention of attendees no matter where they were on the show floor. Rockway Exhibits worked with JRA to design and develop a custom, lightweight booth that met all their needs.

The Client’s Needs

JRA required specific elements to be included in the design. A large charging counter to encourage attendees to relax in JRA’s lounge area and three open meeting areas for networking and company interactions were essential. A storage closet, semi-private conference room, and hanging sign to increase the company’s visibility were also desired exhibit elements for the 30×30 booth. To reduce material handling charges, we took into account the materials we used so the display was as light as possible while still maintaining a bold, high-end look.

JRA Custom Trade Show Booth

The Rockway Exhibits Approach

Rockway Exhibits developed and constructed the exhibit to accommodate all of JRA’s wants and needs. In our in-house woodshop, we built a modular storage closet emblazoned with industry-leading silicone edge graphics (SEG) fabric on all sides. The modular extrusion walls also featured SEG fabric which provides the most professional, best fitting, and seamless look available. The centerpiece of the JRA booth was a 20-foot wide, 5-foot deep, and 8-foot high backlit hanging structure. This was integrated with the charging station that was illuminated with inviting LED under lighting. Sleek, white furniture rentals and greenery accents added to the overall welcoming and modern design.

JRA noted that they received numerous compliments about their entire booth from attendees of the IAAPA 2017 Orlando trade show. The hanging sign with the JRA logo specifically received a great amount of attention. Everyone involved agreed that the design was a fantastic example of a lightweight, custom-sized booth designed to fit the given space parameters.
