This year’s Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Annual Conference & Exhibition took place in Orlando, Florida. The conference brings more than 40,000 global professionals, clinicians, executives, and vendors from the health and IT industries together under one roof. Our client, Clinical Architecture, had attended the event numerous times in the past but was ready to step their booth design up a notch in 2017. That’s when they turned to Rockway Exhibits for help with their new look.
Clinical Architecture’s Unique Needs
Clinical Architecture specializes in the development of healthcare terminology management solutions that help clients improve efficiency in the workplace and better manage information. The main goals of their event attendance at HIMSS this year were to build brand awareness, create new relationships, and provide software demonstrations for new leads.
In previous years, the company had gone with smaller booth designs, but this year they wanted to have a larger presence on the show floor. With a budget and show goal in mind, they opted for a completely custom 20×40 trade show booth rental.
Our Custom Solution
After showing us previous years’ designs and discussing their needs with them, we came up with a new design proposal. Once the collaboration process with the client on the booth concept was complete, we began work on the custom build.
For this particular booth, we utilized wood and laminate, along with an aluminum tube and fabric hanging sign. This achieved a sleek and stylish look that was on brand and attracted the attention of attendees walking the show floor. We were also able to create a private meeting room within the booth that comfortably fit eight people, as well as four monitor stations that allowed Clinical Architecture to demonstrate their software in real-time. Furthermore, we created a semi-private meeting area, a reception counter, and a full-size closet for added functionality.
For added branding, we incorporated a hanging fabric sign with the company’s logo that could be seen throughout the event space.
