The SAP SapphireNOW trade show and ASUG Annual Conference took place this year from May 17th through May 19th in Orlando, Florida. The purpose of this heavily attended show is to connect companies with the right digital business strategy vendors, enabling them to maximize their technology budgets. For their trade show display needs, Back Office Associates contacted our team here at Rockway Exhibits.
The Client’s Needs
Back Office Associates delivers data migration and information governance products and applications, and they approached us with a need for an exhibit that would stand out among the crowd and draw foot traffic to their location. Furthermore, there were a number of specific needs the client had for attendance at this show, including an open booth with four full demonstration stations for their products and services. In addition, Back Office Associates requested:
- A private meeting room
- A semi-private meeting area
- A full-sized closet
- A large greeting counter
Right away, our creative team got to work in coming up with a booth design that would not only meet but exceed the client’s expectations.
Rockway Exhibits’s Approach
We began with one of our larger booth sizes to ensure that the client would have plenty of room for the various meeting, demonstration, and greeting, spaces that were needed. From there, we worked to achieve the high-end look they desired by utilizing a custom designed booth made of wood and kiosks with colored back-lighting on the sides. We knew this lighting feature would help to set the booth apart and catch eyes from all over the showroom floor.
Furthermore, we were able to incorporate four monitors above the main reception counter; these monitors displayed the times for the company’s live demonstrations so people could check later. We were also able to incorporate a custom L-shaped meeting room that matched the reception counter and a hanging sign so company representatives could meet with potential clients or new business connections in private during the conference.
The end result of this custom trade show booth design was a resounding success. The senior management at Back Room Associates commented that it was the best booth they had ever seen, and the company received numerous compliments on the booth from other trade show attendees.
